    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.

    Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time contract opportunity within the esteemed Anchorage, AK. Join us in making a profound impact within the educational landscape by supporting the well-being and growth of students.

    Requirements:

    • Compliance with all local and state regulations for School Psychologist certification
    • Preferential experience in working with special education students and their families
    • Passion for contributing to the academic and emotional success of students

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional challenges in students
    • Collaborate with educators, parents/guardians, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
    • Provide counseling and support services to students individually or in groups to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
    • Offer guidance and recommendations to educators and parents on effective strategies to support student learning and mental health needs
    • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute insights to address students' diverse needs
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of programs promoting positive school climate and mental health awareness
    • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress reports
