    About us

Coalition is the world's first Active Insurance provider designed to help prevent digital risk before it strikes. Founded in 2017, Coalition combines broad insurance coverage with a digital risk assessment and continuous security monitoring to help organizations protect themselves in today's hyper-connected world.

Opportunities to make an impact with bold thinking are real - and happening daily.

    About the role

Cybersecurity threats have become the fastest-growing risk impacting small and midsize businesses, with cyber crime costing businesses $6 trillion+ in 2022 alone. Coalition has pioneered a unique approach to help protect small and midsize businesses from cyber risk by combining technology and insurance to help protect our customers from fast-moving digital risks.

Coalition sells our products through insurance brokers, who serve as trusted advisors to reduce their cyber risk. We're seeking a creative, customer-centric, and collaborative Product Marketing Manager to help communicate this vision and help foster long-term relationships with our broker partners. This role will operate at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing, and play an essential role in translating the products, features, and services into solutions that meet our customers' needs. You will own our messaging and storytelling to brokers and will be responsible for crafting clear, memorable messaging.

Success in this role would result in deepening relationships with our broker partners and increasing our submission pipeline for Coalition's insurance products through our broker channel.

    Responsibilities

    • Curate product positioning and messaging for our core insurance broker audience informed by user research, market insights, and product understanding. Amplify the voice of the customer in your work and collaboration with the product and sales teams.
    • Develop go-to-market strategies and drive launches for our growing product lines in collaboration with product managers, sales, design, PR, and engineering. Evaluate the performance of your products and develop strategies to drive further growth and customer engagement.
    • Turn your knowledge into creative content ideas to reach, engage, and educate our key audiences through collateral, blogs, webinars, thought leadership, customer presentations, website content, videos, blogs, by-lined articles and more.
    • Help enable Coalition's customer-facing teams, including sales, customer success, and underwriting
    • Partner with Coalition's Product, Customer Success, and Sales teams to identify emerging trends and develop proactive resources and customer communications
    • Develop thought-leadership in cyber insurance to effectively engage our core audiences.
    • Partner with our product team to build a connected customer journey across our web properties to increase sign-ups and conversion

    Skills and Qualifications

    • 5+ years of proven experience in product marketing
    • Experience in the insurance industry is required and exposure to cyber insurance is preferred
    • Exceptional communication skills (verbal & written) and close attention to detail
    • Demonstrated track record in crafting compelling messaging, content, and campaigns throughout a product's lifecycle
    • Comfort and experience presenting to an in-person and digital audience
    • Experience on the sales or GTM side a plus
    • Extremely self-motivated, able to work in a dynamic environment on multiple complex projects
    • Proven success working in a collaborative, team environment
    • Maturity to balance short-term and long-term development simultaneously
