    Description

    Responsible for the service of food and beverages in the Resort restaurants. To follow service and operational guidelines in order to create an environment that will guarantee the highest level of comfort and satisfaction for every guest in a personal, social and business activities during their visit.

    • Attend new hire, department and company orientation prior to beginning work in the department.
    • Help Maintain a positive guest experience. Smile, be helpful and friendly while providing quick and accurate service
    • Report to work on time and in a clean and proper uniform.
    • Respond in a courteous manner to all guest questions or requests
    • Understand how this job function enhances guest satisfaction and/or increases the level of guest service
    • Maintain a positive working relationship with other departments
    • Responsible for the adherence and enforcement of policies and procedures of the department and the resort.
    • Report any situations potentially hazardous to the safety of the guests and the employees to the Manager on duty
    • Responsible for the proper set up of all tables in the server's assigned section to ensure cleanliness of the table surface, chairs, glassware, silverware and linens
    • Maintain clean workstations before, during and at the end of the shift
    • Verify you have everything that is needed to get though your shift. If items are missing or 86'd immediately notify the manager on duty.
    • Responsible for following the Resorts cash handling policies and procedures
    • Serve alcoholic beverages only within the limits of the Resorts liquor license and the State Laws of Idaho. This will include but is not limited to, the verifying of proper identification, and the review of patrons proper consumption.
    • Responsible for the service of food and beverages courteously and professionally to the Resort guests in a timely manner, helping food runners as needed
    • Responsible for the knowledge of the current food and beverage choices available along with daily specials
    • Remove trays of dirty dishes, silverware and glassware from the dining room to the dishwashing area throughout the shift
    • Assist bartenders with washing glassware and running drinks
    • Assist guests pouring beer on the beer wall as well as overing to grab them refills as needed
    • Be attentive to the guests in the restaurant for any needs that they may require
    • Properly clean your stations, server works areas after each shift putting all supplies away in the proper location, and completing assigned sidework
    • Responsible for the breakdown and setup of tables in the restaurant or on the patio
    • Perform all other related duties as assigned or required by the Outlets Manager or Manger on Duty.

    Must know basic food handling techniques. Demonstrate the ability to interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner. Basic computer and arithmetic skills required.
