    Description

    We are in search of a highly driven filmmaker to join our dynamic team at Wildly. We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic about learning and growing alongside us, and who is eager to be involved in various aspects of the creative and production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shooting and editing, with additional experience in creative production being a valuable asset.

    This position works closely with and reports to the Creative Director and Executive Producer. As a Director of Photography and Editor, you should possess a strong work ethic, a desire to expand your skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    NOTE: The position will commence with a full-time, paid 3-month contract, with the aim of transitioning to a permanent role afterwards. Applicants are required to provide links to relevant work samples (personal websites, Vimeo, etc.)

    ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Post-Production Editing (primary focus)
    • Participation in the camera department (DP, B-Cam, AC, etc)
    • Apart from shooting and editing tasks, this role will also contribute creatively to the pre-production phase within the studio. This could involve: Concept and script development, assisting with pitch decks/materials, and engaging in client communications and project management

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum of 2-3 years of production experience (agency, freelance, or similar)
    • Comfortable working directly with clients across all stages of branded, commercial, and documentary projects.
    • Proficiency in cinematography and camera operation
    • Experience in post-production and editing using Adobe CC
    • On-site presence at our Seattle office
    • Openness to travel for work

    BONUS POINTS:

    • Background in still photography
    • Interest in transitioning to producing roles
    • Skills in After Effects, VFX, etc
    • Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve
