    Description

    PROJECT COORDINATOR with experience in desktop support, data center or infrastructure projects. This person will help with the supervision and execution of desktop deployments. Should know how equipment is set up. Will coordinate freight and deliveries of all desktop equipment. Manage unpacking of equipment and disposal of boxes. If you do not have the experience listed above, you will not be the right fit for this role.

    Please be aware - this role is on-site 5 days a week in Midtown Manhattan

    Focus will be on:

    • Desktop Build-outs for new office building
    • Logging in equipment
    • Attending meetings with clients, vendors and carriers.
    • Experience in Project Management tools and project tracking tools.
    • Logistics coordination

    Job Summary

    The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the management of IT projects for internal projects, from start to finish in accordance with industry best practices.

    Essential Functions

    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time
    • Organize and participate in meetings with management to determine the priority of opportunities
    • Report and escalate to management as needed

    Skills:

    • Some MS-Project would be preferred
    • Proficiency in the standard MS Office products (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
    • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Team player and collaborative / flexible attitude
    • Self-motivation and organization skills
    • Ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
