    PAGNY is a team of over 4,000 physicians and healthcare experts delivering services to NYC Health+ Hospitals (H+H), the largest public health system in the US. Our practitioners are highly qualified professionals with exceptional credentials providing top-quality healthcare across New York City.
    NYC Health + Hospitals/ Coney Island, situated in Southern Brooklyn, handles 250,000+ outpatient visits, 89,000+ ER visits, and over 15,000 inpatient admissions annually with 371 beds. The hospital has academic affiliations with SUNY Downstate Medical Center and New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, ensuring high healthcare standards.
    We are looking for a Director of Infectious Disease to join the Department of Medicine full-time.
    • Administer the Infectious Disease Division, ensuring quality assurance and meeting performance targets
    • Provide clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
    • Offer consultations in inpatient and outpatient scenarios
    • Contribute to resident and medical education and engage in scholarly activities
    • Provide clinical guidance to the healthcare team and establish performance standards
    • Lead the antibiotic stewardship program and HIV compliance protocols
    • Perform administrative and professional duties as necessary
    Qualifications:
    • Active, Unrestricted NYS License
    • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Infectious Disease
    • 5 years of experience as an Attending Physician and educator (preferred)
    • Collegial demeanor and administrative experience (preferred)
    • Experience working with underserved populations (preferred)
