- BS degree minimum
- 5+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer
- Some experience working within the Pharmaceutical and/or Biotech industries
- Hands-on experience working with Discoverant system and upgrading systems

Description
A Pharmaceutical company in San Diego specializing in pain management is in immediate need of an Automation Engineer Consultant. This project will go for 6 months and can be completed while working remote 50% of the time.
This role is highly specialized and requires experience supporting Discoverant systems and process monitoring tools ).
The consultant will upgrade the system, fix a broken link to one of the client's suites, and then lead a separate project to decommission part of a system that is monitoring processes in the UK. The project requires a strong background in software and systems automation engineering, strong technical writing capabilities, and strong communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams. This consultant will be reporting to the Head of Facilities and Engineering.
