    You are part of the Engineering Team for launches, troubleshooting, and improvements of highly automated controls, robotic and welding systems.

    Support operations in electrical/controls troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
    Generate wiring schematics and control drawings with AutoCAD and maintain all plant electrical prints.
    Work closely with the Engineering Team to define system control needs.
    Lead projects and assist skilled trades in electrical disciplines.
    Assist corporate controls in engineering changes and new programs.
    Guide design, develops, and tests electrical control methods, materials, processes and results.
    Champion assigned engineering changes, communicate and coordinate accordingly with all departments.
    Support plant activities towards achieving customer awards and Quality registration (ex. TS 16949, ISO 14001, etc.)Accountable for adhering to all internal and OSHA-required safety procedures in performing daily work activities.
    Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
    Adherence to all company policies and procedures (ex., Quality Policy Manual, Colleague Handbook, Level II Procedures etc.).


    QUALIFICATIONS:


    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology or other technical disciplines.5+ years as a Controls Engineer within a manufacturing environment; automotive strongly preferred.

    Working knowledge of PLC hardware, Ladder Logic programming and AutoCAD.Metal stamping and assembly experience strongly preferred.
    Demonstrate ability to read and define electric drawings, pneumatic and/or hydraulic plans.
    Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
    Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
