    Description

    Welcome to our team! We are looking for an adaptable and skilled HR Generalist with at least 5 years of experience to take on the exciting role of Field HR Business Partner. In this position, you will be the go-to person for HR support across multiple locations, ensuring that HR policies are followed while providing guidance on performance management, employee relations, and compliance to site leaders. It's essential that you thrive in building positive work relationships, fostering inclusivity, and boosting engagement among our diverse workforce.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and relations, ensuring accuracy and fairness.
    • Offer HR guidance to site leaders to ensure alignment with company policies.
    • Foster a customer-focused workforce through proactive HR support.
    • Analyze metrics to identify improvement opportunities and implement strategies.
    • Collaborate with the Learning & Development Team to create development plans for Front-line Team Members.
    • Resolve employee relations issues and ensure legal compliance.
    • Keep the HR Leader informed of personnel matters.
    • Provide performance management guidance to leaders, including coaching and counseling.
    • Collaborate with Managers and Team Members to enhance work relationships and productivity.
    • Offer HR policy guidance and support.
    • Support customer retention and business development activities.
    • Identify and mitigate corporate risks related to employment laws.
    • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information.
    • Perform any assigned duties effectively.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelors degree in human resources or related field preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in investigations required.
    • Proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
    • Experience working with large hourly workforces preferred.
    • Experience with unionized and non-unionized employees preferred.

    Knowledge:

    • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications.
    • Understanding of customer and personnel service principles.
    • Knowledge of HRIS software, performance management systems, and diversity & inclusion practices.
    • Understanding of best practices in employee relations and conflict resolution.
    • Proficiency in HR analytics and data-driven decisions.
    • Knowledge of employee benefits administration and workplace health regulations.

    • Project management skills and ability to influence productive relationships.
    • Intellectual agility, curiosity, and flexibility.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain good relationships.
    • Knowledge of California employment law.
    • Ability to identify and address issues effectively.

    Reasoning Ability:

    • Ability to apply logical thinking and problem-solving in various situations.
    • Dealing with problems effectively with standardized solutions.

    Work Environment

    This role operates in a professional office setting using standard equipment. Some exposure to varying work environments may occur.

    Physical Demands

    This job requires various physical activities including talking, standing, walking, and lifting up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities are necessary for the role.

    Travel: Expect frequent travel up to 50% with some overnight stays required.

    Annual Pay Range: $70,000-$100,000

    The salary range offered varies based on factors such as education, experience, skills, and market alignment.
