    Our rapidly growing engineering team seeks individuals with experience or a keen interest in databases, distributed systems, and cloud services. Whether it's improving existing products or creating new ones from the ground up, there is always something innovative happening in our team.

    As part of the Cloud Services Development teams, you will lead the software design and development of key components for Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure, serving as the centralized database store for Oracle Public Cloud.

    Here are some essential skills that will help you excel in this role:

    • 10+ years of experience delivering and maintaining large-scale, highly available distributed systems and cloud services
    • Proficiency in C, C++, or Java, along with familiarity in scripting languages like Python, Perl, etc.
    • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems, and cloud services fundamentals
    • Good grasp of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures
    • Thorough knowledge of databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence technologies, especially in cloud environments
    • Effective troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
    • Experience in constructing multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure is a significant advantage
