    We are seeking a Nursing Assistant Trainee to join our team of caring professionals.

    This role is ideal for individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

    The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic learning environment where they will develop the skills and confidence needed to provide exceptional care to clients.

    Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, the trainee will work closely with a preceptor to deliver holistic client-centered care that promotes independence and dignity.

    The Nursing Assistant Trainee will learn the skills and processes needed to provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, undressing, obtaining vital signs, and providing psychosocial support.

    The trainee will also assist with basic health care needs, activities of daily living, and housekeeping duties as assigned.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide personal care and assistance to clients under the supervision of a licensed nurse
    • Assist with basic health care needs, activities of daily living, and housekeeping duties
    • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure high-quality care is delivered
    • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients

    Requirements:

    • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
    • Minimum age of 16
    • Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
