    Job DescriptionSalary: $18 - $25 Hourly

    Job description and duties:

    • The BAS apprentice role works directly with the BAS technician to perform necessary tasks to install and maintain a functioning BAS.
    • Apprentice will work with BAS technician either directly or indirectly to fulfill project requirements.
    • Typical duties will include mounting and wiring hardware, running communications cable and/or end device (I/O cable), assisting with commissioning and installation of hardware and system components, coordinating with other trades (when applicable). Could also include communication bus troubleshooting, wiring and electrical component troubleshooting, modifying/creating graphics and logic.
    • Primarily works in the field covering the state of Oklahoma.

    Desirable skills/traits:

    • The ideal candidate will have prior experience with HVAC and/or electrical related fields and/or components.
    • Mechanical aptitude, working with your hands, good communication skills.
    • This role is designed to transition someone with HVAC and/or electrical background into the BAS industry, or someone who is just starting out in their career journey that wants to work in the BAS industry.
    • Willingness and eagerness to learn, and to teach others as well are essential for the correct candidate to excel in this role. We will provide you with the tools and knowledge necessary to succeed in this role and industry, as long as you're willing to put in the work.

    Qualifications:

    • HVAC and/or electrical industry experience preferred.
    • Computer literacy is a must, using various software programs to build, service, modify systems.
    • Must be able to work Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm, and occasionally after hours and on weekends.
    • Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and internal team members.
    • Must be cleared to drive a company vehicle through our insurance provider.
    • Must pass drug screening, background check, and a physical prior to starting.
    • Must be willing to comply with all local, state, and federal laws.
