- Providing Direct Resident Care: Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, and transferring.
- Medication Reminders: Assisting residents with self-administration of medications as permitted by state regulations and facility policy.
- Documentation: Accurately documenting care provided, changes in resident condition, and other pertinent observations in the resident's record.
- Reporting: Promptly reporting any changes in a resident's physical, mental, or emotional status to the charge nurse or supervisor.
- Engagement: Encouraging resident participation in activities and social events to promote engagement and well-being.
- Safety: Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized living environment for residents.
- Teamwork: Collaborating with nurses, other CNAs, and staff to deliver holistic and compassionate care.
- Current Certification: Must possess a current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of [Insert State, e.g., Indiana].
- Experience: Previous experience in assisted living or long-term care is preferred, but newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply
