As we continue to grow, we are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Multi-Unit Residential New Construction HVAC Apprentices.

Kalos Services is seeking enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about building a career in the multi family HVAC industry, specifically in multi-unit residential new construction. As a multi family HVAC Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced technicians and gain hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and servicing HVAC systems in residential/commercial buildings. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to develop their skills, grow professionally, and contribute to the success of our team.

Schedule: Day Shift 7AM - 4PM Monday - Friday

Location: Altamonte Springs, Florida

As a Commercial HVAC Install Apprentice at Kalos Services, you will play a vital role in our team by assisting in the installation of multifamily HVAC systems at Centerpoint located in Altamonte Springs, FL.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in HVAC installations in residential, commercial, and industrial settings, under the guidance of experienced technicians.
• Performing routine maintenance tasks and warranty work to ensure the efficient and safe operation of HVAC systems.
• Assisting in diagnosing and troubleshooting system malfunctions, and participating in the repair process as directed.
• Assisting in charging refrigerant levels, checking for leaks, and ensuring the refrigerant cycle is functioning correctly in air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Supporting energy-efficiency installation upgrades, such as installing smart thermostats or sealing ducts, to enhance system performance.
• Participating in the installation of new HVAC systems and equipment, ensuring proper functioning and compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborating closely with the team to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner and service goals are met.

Qualifications:

• Enrollment in or completion of a recognized HVAC apprenticeship program preferred but not required
• Ability to work 40 hours plus overtime on a contract basis
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to and from Altamonte Springs, FL.
