- Assisting in HVAC installations in residential, commercial, and industrial settings, under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks and warranty work to ensure the efficient and safe operation of HVAC systems.
- Assisting in diagnosing and troubleshooting system malfunctions, and participating in the repair process as directed.
- Assisting in charging refrigerant levels, checking for leaks, and ensuring the refrigerant cycle is functioning correctly in air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Supporting energy-efficiency installation upgrades, such as installing smart thermostats or sealing ducts, to enhance system performance.
- Participating in the installation of new HVAC systems and equipment, ensuring proper functioning and compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborating closely with the team to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner and service goals are met.
- Enrollment in or completion of a recognized HVAC apprenticeship program preferred but not required
- Ability to work 40 hours plus overtime on a contract basis
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
