    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Therapist/Registered Behavioral Therapist to join our team and provide comprehensive therapeutic services to individuals with behavioral and developmental challenges. As a Registered Behavioral Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in implementing evidence-based interventions, creating individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate positive behavior change and improve the quality of life for our clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' behavioral and developmental needs through observations, interviews, and data collection.
    • Collaborate with caregivers, families, and other professionals to gather insights and develop holistic treatment plans tailored to each client's unique strengths and challenges.
    • Implement behavior intervention strategies and techniques based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to address target behaviors and skill deficits.
    • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, group sessions, and structured activities to teach essential life skills, social interactions, communication, and adaptive behaviors.
    • Document and maintain accurate records of client progress, behavior plans, and treatment goals using standardized data collection methods.
    • Regularly review and analyze data to make informed decisions about modifying intervention strategies and adapting treatment plans as necessary.
    • Train and guide caregivers, families, and other team members on effective strategies for reinforcing positive behaviors and generalizing learned skills outside of therapy sessions.
    • Maintain ethical and professional standards while adhering to relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines within the field of behavioral therapy.
    • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development activities to stay current with the latest research and best practices in behavioral therapy.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, educators, and professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to client care and continuity of services.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree is preferred but not necessary.
    • Current certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) is required. Or willing to obtain.
    • Strong understanding of behavioral theories, positive reinforcement strategies, and behavior modification techniques.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
    • Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to enhancing the lives of individuals with behavioral and developmental challenges.
    • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to drive decision-making and treatment planning.
    • Proficiency in utilizing technology for data tracking, report writing, and communication purposes.
    • Adherence to ethical guidelines and standards established by relevant professional organizations.
