    SUMMARY

    In this role, the Field Engineer will be expected toinstall, troubleshoot, operate and configure HONEYWELL/ CCC products and systems at customersites.

    Additionally, the Field Engineer will instruct HONEYWELL/ CCC customers in specific, appropriateproduct usage.

    The Field Engineer will exhibit genuine interest insolving work problems through proactively asking questions, clearlycommunicating and collaborating both internally and externally to grow thebusiness.

    In addition, the Field Engineer is responsible for understanding ourcompetition and customers, and showing initiative to learn and continuouslyimprove company processes.


    This role can be based out of Des Moines or Houston.

    The Field Service Engineer will begin their careerwith HONEYWELL/ CCC training in Des Moines or Houston for approximately six months to one year.

    After that, the Field Service Engineer will travel 80% domestically/ 20% internationally60% of the time. The remaining time will be spent in the office in Des Moinesor Houston (depending on where the individual lives).


    DUTIES& RESPONSIBILITIES

    Listed in order of relevance:

    • Pre-commissioning activities including systemcheckout, instrumentation calibration, loop checks, and communication testing
    • Test and tune including machinery testing, controlloop tuning and troubleshooting
    • Remote technical support, systems engineeringsupport and troubleshooting
    • Prepare administrative (expenses, reports, etc.)and aftermarket support
    • Customer training
    • Collaborate with departments cross functionally tosupport the entire Lifecycle of our products and customer experience
    • Respond to change productively and handle other duties asrequired
    • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

    MUST HAVE:


    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a fouryearcollege or university
    • Internship, Coop, or 13 years of previous workexperience with turbo machinery control systems (Compressors, Steam / GasTurbines, Expanders, Generators) and Process control

    WE VALUE:


    • Proficiency in computers and networking.
    Programming skills are a plus

    • Ability to apply advanced mathematical conceptsand operations to effectively complete specific projects and tasks
    • Basic training skills preferred
    • Experience with safety systems and / or TUVcertified is a plus.
    • Ability to read, speak, and write in English andSpanish required, all other languages are a plus
    • Certified to work offshore or willing and capableto complete the required training

    WORKINGCONDITIONS
    60 percent or more of travel per year expected.
    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed tomoving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/orhumid conditions, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level inthe work environment is usually moderate to loud. Extensive domestic andinternational travel is required.
