If you are a positive, driven person who enjoys a challenging workplace and exudes a positive attitude, we are looking for you Overview/Job PurposeThe Triage Assistant is responsible for communicating with patients and Provider/MA teams to ensure prompt scheduling, response times, and clear communication occurs in regards to Primary Care appointment scheduling.


    Summary of Duties:


    As a Triage Assistant at Duke City Primary Care, your day-to-day duties may include, but are not limited to, the various tasks below:Open all pertinent applications to manage scheduling, triage, and communications with team.

    Schedule appointments, verify insurance, room in-house patients or call patients for video or phone visits and start triage process.
    Discharging patients.
    Assisting MAs and providers, reviewing where/when to get orders done following visits.
    Appointment triagingPatient charting for completed or referred visitsScheduling follow up appointmentsFollow scripting for all calls and follow triage processGenerating referrals following all process pertaining to referralsOther duties as assigned
