    Job Description

    Trane is seeking a Customer Sales Associate to join our team at the Residential Parts & Supply Store. As a Customer Sales Associate, your role will involve assisting customers at Trane Supply stores by addressing parts or equipment issues, providing top-notch parts and solutions, processing orders, and addressing customer inquiries.

    Responsibilities:

    • Interact with both walk-in and phone customers to understand their needs, address inquiries, and offer timely solutions for their HVAC Parts & Supply requirements.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Trane products, promotions, and offerings to effectively assist customers and boost sales by suggesting complementary products or additional needs; present options both in person and over the phone.
    • Handle quote and order management processes meticulously to streamline order fulfillment, ensuring customer satisfaction and on-time delivery - inputting quotes and invoices and overseeing fulfillment procedures.
    • Support warehouse and inventory management tasks as necessary - conducting cycle counts, managing back orders, processing PO receipts, transfers, shipping & receiving, stocking the store, overseeing inventory control, and organizing bin locations. There may be instances where you will need to operate a forklift and lift up to 50lbs.
    Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Prior experience in a dynamic, customer-centric environment with a strong focus on customer service, continuous enhancement, and safety.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, retail, or a related field; knowledge of HVAC sales and mechanical capabilities are advantageous.
    • Demonstrated track record of fostering customer relationships and delivering excellent customer service, even in challenging circumstances.
    Base Salary: $41,000 - $55,000 per year. The total compensation package will include additional incentives.
