    Mantenimiento de flotas y equipos de paisajismo

    Resumen:

    Bajo la orientación del gerente de la flota, los mecánicos realizan el servicio y reparaciones de todos los vehículos de la empresa, incluyendo cortadores de césped y equipo de construcción, dentro de las pautas presupuestarias y de acuerdo con los procedimientos operativos estándar de EMI. Las tareas laborales pueden incluir cambio de fluidos y filtros, frenos, afinaciones, trabajo de suspensión, soldadura y trabajo eléctrico del vehículo. El mecánico debe poseer la capacidad de diagnosticar problemas, documentar el trabajo y tener habilidades razonables de comunicación verbal. Debe poseer una licencia de conducir válida y el conocimiento práctico de herramientas manuales básicas. Es responsable de la operación del vehículo, la operación del equipo y el cumplimiento de los procedimientos de seguridad establecidos por EMI. Debe estar disponible para trabajar horas extendidas, fines de semana y durante las inclemencias del tiempo.

    Entre sus responsabilidades se encuentran:

    1. Ayudar en el mantenimiento preventivo continuo y la reparación de equipos y vehículos de la organización.
    2. Operar de manera segura, efectiva y eficiente el equipo requerido para completar el trabajo asignado.
    3. A veces se les pide a los mecánicos que realicen un mantenimiento menor del edificio.

    Equipo:

    Vehículo de la empresa con remolque, carretilla elevadora/minicargadora, soldador, antorcha de acetileno y herramientas manuales motorizadas.

    Otras habilidades:

    Debe poseer una comprensión básica de los sistemas de diagnóstico específicos del vehículo (OBDII y / o Kohler). Se prefiere una comprensión avanzada de los sistemas de diagnóstico.
