    Talent Acquisition Specialist and hiring managers, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is primarily responsible for networking, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and securing highly qualified talent for ESLC leading to a pathway to meaningful long-term employment.


    Pay Range:
    $55,000 - $58,500 annually (Pay information will vary depending upon relevant experience for the position.)

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Collaborates proactively with hiring managers to develop effective & innovative recruitment strategies and action plans.
    • Develops effective electronic applicant pre-screening questions and posts advertised positions on Applicant Tracking System, social media, with community partners, high schools, trade schools, colleges and universities.
    • Proactively identifies areas of opportunity to improve internal recruitment processes.
    • Builds and maintains relationships with regional schools (high school, college, trade levels) and other community partners.
    • Responsible for partnering with agencies to identify and clear nurse contract workers to fill open shifts at AL communities and ECH.
    • Pre-screens potential applicants via application review, licensing review, and/or phone interview; submits most qualified applicants to hiring manager for consideration.
    • Ensures applicants meet all required pre-offer contingencies, prepares and delivers verbal and written (contingent) offers of employment.
    • Coordinates with scheduling in person or virtual interviews for hiring managers as needed.
    • Completes offer packets and coordinates onboarding process with hiring manager in preparation for candidates' 1st day of employment Ensuring all DOH compliance requirements are met for AL & ECH new hires and supports DOH surveys as needed.
    • Represents ESLC at off-site events (job fairs, networking at community partner sites, professional association events, NYS DOL Workforce development, etc.).
    • May be responsible for maintaining and distributing various reports related to recruitment and applicants.
    Requirements

    EDUCATION:

    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • PHR Certification a plus.

    EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum of two (2) years related work experience talent acquisition / recruiting experience required.
    • Fluency with ATS's and HRIS systems required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) required
    • Healthcare/Skilled Nursing Home recruiting experience preferred.
    • Proficient in utilizing social media platforms for recruiting purposes preferred.

    ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
    • Must be comfortable with social/in-person and electronic networking and building effective recruiting partnerships / relationships.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent ability to adapt to changing business needs.
    • Able to flex work schedule to accommodate recruiting, onboarding events.
    • Takes pride in being a team play and able to work independently as well.

    SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Shall be fully acquainted with all safety policies and procedures of the Church Home, Assisted Living and Independent Living communities.

    Takes an active role in all fire drills during the shift and/or emergencies for internal and external disasters as monitored by supervisor and incident manager.

    Must comply with facility in-service requirements.

    Maintain confidentiality of all information related to the organization, residents, participants, family and staff, that may be encountered, either formally or informally, during the normal course of business.

    This includes medical and treatment records, financial and human resources information.
