    AECOM


    is seeking a highly motivated staff geotechnical and/or civil engineer to support mine tailings storage facility and heavy civil infrastructure design and analysis as part of the Mining group in Murray, UT (Salt Lake City).


    Job Summary/ Responsibilities:
    Performs specific and moderate portions of broader assignments


    Plans, directs and performs specific and/or moderate portions of mid- to large, complex projects under the supervision of an experienced senior engineer.

    Plans, implements, performs and oversees geotechnical exploration and laboratory testing programs (30% travel/field time)

    Plans, oversees and performs geotechnical evaluations including material characterization, liquefaction, seepage, slope stability, and settlement analyses

    Prepares and reviews calculation packages

    Assisting with the development of geotechnical reports, drawings and specifications

    Preparing and presenting technical presentations of evaluation results to internal and client teams

    Review of geotechnical instrumentation and preparation of instrumentation monitoring reports
