This job was posted by for more information please see essential functions under general direction serves as production operations controller for the department of innovation technology independently analyzing scheduling and performing advanced production control functions utilizing automated scheduling software such as ca scheduler to ensure successful completion monitors the processing of library and mobius batch jobs to guarantee execution and successful completion according to schedule coordinates the proper handling of special production requests from submission to completion with priorities verifies batch processing jobs have successfully completed reviews jobs that abnormally terminate takes corrective action or notifying programming systems staff for required intervention provides technical expertise guidance assistance co workers in resolving problematic situations assists with job analysis work on abends errors achieve successful job completions all library batch processing moves performed keeps abreast new developments information technology field continuing education through online training platforms meetings training sessions seminars conferences increase familiarity remain current products vendors techniques procedures monitors appropriateness accuracy operation documentation maintained completeness information reviews jobs documentation adherence established standards performs other duties assigned reasonably within scope duties enumerated above minimum qualifications requires knowledge skill mental development equivalent high school requires three years previous experience typically gained data processing technician level
