MDS/PDPM Regional Director

Job Description:

To plan, organize and direct the MDS process in accordance with federal and state standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility. R.N or L.P.N

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and document the management of the Medicare, HMO and Managed Care residents in collaboration with facility team members.
• Maintain and update schedules of MDS's.
• Oversee the coordination and participate in the completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (MDS, CAA's and Care Plan)
• Assist in completion of the Resident Assessment with the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Assure that MDS, RAI process and Care plans are completed and transmitted timely.
• Assist in audits, denials and ADRs as requested by CES.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Valid license as a Registered Nurse
• 5+ years of nursing experience in similar setting.
• 3+ years of experience as a MDS Coordinator.
• RAC-CT or RNAC preferred.
