    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and analyzing variances.
    2. Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP.
    3. Perform detailed financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting.
    4. Prepare and review account reconciliations and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
    5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial reporting requirements.
    6. Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including preparing budget schedules, analyzing budget-to-actual variances, and providing insights to support budget decisions.
    7. Support external audit and tax compliance efforts by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
    8. Stay current on accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends, and make recommendations for process improvements as necessary.
    9. Mentor and train junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development.
    10. Assist with special projects and ad hoc analysis as assigned by management.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation or in progress preferred.
    • Minimum of 3years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
    • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful insights.
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Previous experience in mentoring or supervising junior staff is a plus.
