    The Senior HRIS Analyst will act as the Workday technical lead, subject matter expert and advisor, providing HCM system administration and support and leading Workday HCM system configuration, enhancement, and deployment efforts.

    Additionally, this individual will serve as the liaison between business teams, third party vendors and EdTech (IT) for system integrations, enhancements, and issue fixes.

    The Senior HRIS Analyst will demonstrate high proficiency in project management, communication with leadership and stakeholders, as well as system knowledge, process analysis, and configuration abilities.


    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
    Lead work to configure, enhance, and support various Workday modules including HCM, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Talent/Performance, HCM integrations, etc.

    Manage and administer Workday security groups, foundational tables, and Workday inbound and outbound HCM integrations.


    Partner and consult closely with leaders, business and support teams to understand system end-user needs and provide recommendations to keep Workday business processes simple and efficient.

    Communicate system related enhancements, releases, and upgrades.

    Lead continuous improvement projects, such as improving Workday processes, workflows, integrations, and data integrity.

    Ensure accuracy and integrity of organizational data within the HCM.


    Manage Workday releases and updates, which includes researching functionality, conducting testing, and communicating options for changes or enhancements, as applicable.

    Provide end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, technology request assistance and escalation management, using ticketing and/or tracking systems. Monitor reoccurring issues, system/data or process gaps and proactively identify potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements.

    Broaden internal knowledge of Workday through job aids and other training materials.

    Regularly support People and Talent initiatives and projects by researching technology solutions and executing deliverables on time.

    Work closely with other team members to brainstorm, strategize and complete ad hoc requests creatively, effectively, and efficiently.

    Serve as a subject matter expert, mentor team members, and assist with training new team members.

    Complete other duties as assigned.


    Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:


    Knowledge of HR systems maintenance and support, including the execution of system changes (updates, integrations, new configurations) and system testing.

    Practical knowledge of verifying data for import into systems or for use in reports, spreadsheets, graphs, and/or flow charts.

    Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

    Must be a detail-oriented thinker, exhibiting strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

    Job Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a human resources, computer science, information systems or related discipline.

    5-7 years of human resources and/or data analytics related experience as well as project coordination/management experience.

    Experience with configuring and maintaining HRIS/HCM systems.

    Experience leading HRIS projects including implementations, integration builds, functionality enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Two or more years of Workday experience preferred.

    Workday Pro Certification (HCM, Studio, Integrations, Core Connectors, etc.) a plus.

    PHR certification a plus.


    Physical Requirements:
    Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Occcasional travel for team and/or department meetings.
