    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Manager to join the growing team in Charlotte, NC. You will play a vital role in developing, implementing, and enforcing our comprehensive safety program to ensure the well-being of all personnel on our construction sites. You will proactively identify potential hazards, recommend corrective actions, and provide safety training to employees at all levels.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive safety program that complies with all applicable OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections of job sites to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
    • Investigate safety incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
    • Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, covering topics like personal protective equipment (PPE) use, hazard recognition, and safe work practices.
    • Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest safety regulations and industry standards.
    • Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to integrate safety considerations into all phases of construction projects.
    • Promote a strong safety culture on all job sites.
    • Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks.
    • Serve as a safety resource for all employees.
    • Manage the company's safety budget.
    • May perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
    • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Safety Manager in the commercial construction industry.
    • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification (preferred).
    • Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and relevant safety standards.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Proactive and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety.
    • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required.
