IT Purchasing Specialist - Los Angeles

Job summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Purchasing Specialist to provide planning and administration for a variety of IT purchasing needs in support of the client's Bond Program.Working under the Director of Contracts, this position will be expected to provide strategic recommendations for IT purchasing solutions and best practices. Essential duties include administration of procurement process from preparing solicitation documents through contract execution,
supporting project management staff through quote solicitations and compliance reviews, monitoring contracts and purchase orders.
The ideal candidate should have minimum 7 years relevant experience with experience in California Public Contract Codes familiarity with software licensing models (SaaS) proficient in Microsoft Excel Word Access SAP Adobe Acrobat communication skills written verbal reliability discretion problem solving ability.
