    Description


    Responsible for facilitating the medical staff Peer Review, Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE) and Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE) functions in accordance with The Joint Commission (TJC) Standards, CMS Conditions of Participation, and other regulatory requirements for all TUHS licensed facilities.

    The Quality Manager is also responsible for clinical privilege development and management of the TUHS Medical Staff Affairs Department, internal Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO) which oversees the credentialing of TUHS physicians and APPs working in non-licensed TUHS facilities.

    EducationBachelors Degree (Required)Masters Degree (Preferred)Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
    Experience3 Years experience in physician credentialing in a health care environment. (Required)3 years experience in a supervisory or lead role.

    (Required)General Experience and knowledge of physician credentialing (Required)General Experience and knowledge of the Joint Commission standards and a State Board of Medicine licensure requirements.

    (Required)General Experience in Quality Management. (Preferred)PA Department of Health regulations, and PA State Board of Medicine licensure requirements. (Preferred)General Experience in a hospital setting.
