ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team on a contract basis in Indianapolis, IN.
This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students by providing comprehensive psychological services to support their academic, social, and emotional development.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is committed to promoting a positive and inclusive school environment.Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges
Administer and interpret standardized tests and assessments to identify students' strengths and needs
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop intervention strategies
Stay current on best practices and research in the field of school psychology
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
Valid Indiana School Services Personnel license with a School Psychologist endorsement
Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting preferred
Strong assessment and intervention skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
