JOB TITLE: Ceramic Process Engineer

SUMMARY

The role of Ceramic Process Engineer revolves around maintaining top-notch quality standards for body materials and formulations, requiring a hands-on approach. This position may involve international travel for training.

Joining a dynamic manufacturing startup, you will play a pivotal role in the team with opportunities for growth as the company expands. The initial hours are on the day shift, but flexibility is key as the production demands may vary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Emphasize Safety and Quality above all
• Conduct body formulation testing
• Implement checks and balances for ceramic processes
• Support line testing procedures
• Collaborate with equipment suppliers
• Manage ceramic raw materials
• Oversee ball milling and deflocculation processes
• Lead project management initiatives
• Drive cost reduction through formulation and process enhancements
• Enhance and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Supervise technicians when necessary
• Utilize ERP Systems effectively

Experience and Knowledge Required

• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse environment

A plus would be:

• 1+ Years of experience in Ceramic tile manufacturing
• 1+ Years of hands-on ERP system experience

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As required to fulfill specific tasks

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must hold an Engineering Degree
