    Lets talk about the role

    The Marketing Director will partner with the Founder and SVP of Marketing to lead the development and execution of marketing strategy, plans and initiatives for both digital & distributors and be a key contributor to the success of the overall strategy for Tattoo & Permanent Makeup Machines & Accessories. FK Irons & Microbeau have built an impressive omni-channel marketing platform and suite of leading brands and continue to optimize its capabilities with a focus on profitable and cost-effective revenue growth. The Marketing Director will work closely with executive leadership to develop and execute strategy.

    The Marketing Director is responsible for customer acquisition and retention through all channels, including search, email, social and affiliates with sophisticated online reputation management, analytics, and attribution. The Marketing Director will oversee Brand Management, Ecommerce, Content, Creative & Video, and Social and will work across internal teams on product development and brand identity. The Marketing Director will identify inefficiencies, unlock brand value and deliver actionable insights that drive growth and return on advertising spend in partnership with the digital team. This role will be expected to improve business intelligence capabilities, creating a data rich digital environment which will provide for an analysis-oriented culture that relies on key performance indicators and related reporting systems to enable decision making. The Director of Marketing will execute its marketing programs, and identify new marketing avenues for expansion and improvement.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Hiring and staffing
    • Scheduling, organizing and assigning projects to the marketing team
    • Coaching and developing existing employees
    • Monitoring performance and initiating action to strengthen results
    • Translating corporate goals into functional and individual goals
    • Conducting timely performance evaluations

    Essential Functions:

    • Develop and execute marketing strategy for a portfolio of brands (FK Irons & Microbeau)
    • Develop and execute marketing plan for brands and all e-commerce sites
    • Develop and execute marketing plan for brands direct to Distributors
    • Work hand-in-hand with Product Development on developing launch plans for NPIs
    • Strategize, plan and manage the launch of new products
    • Manage a detailed marketing budget and provide monthly forecasts
    • Actively engage and integrate marketing plans with sales, finance and operations functions
    • Grow, develop and manage the internal marketing team
    • Manage outside marketing agencies to ensure metrics and targets are being met
    • Manage, track and measure the various media channels
    • Provide leadership and direction in creative, brand management, content management, social, and Ecommerce
    • Provide direction for the design of branded product packaging
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Skills for Success:

    • Bachelors or masters degree in marketing or a related field
    • 5-10 years working experience in marketing, with emphasis on digital & e-commerce
    • 3-5 years in management or leadership role
    • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
    • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools
    • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
    • Customer oriented, results driven
    • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work in founder led environments
    • Ability to successfully multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical and management.
    • Advanced knowledge of marketing strategy (with a strong emphasis on digital), trends and tools.
    • An ability to drive/lead/optimize marketing and advertising in a dynamic/growing environment.
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
    • Strong project management skills, combined with a proactive, accountable can do attitude.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, with the curiosity, willingness and drive to make data analysis driven decisions.
    • High integrity, high energy and the desire to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
    • Ability to balance customer acquisition with retention of existing customers
