for a 13-week assignment.

Position Overview
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will support occupational therapy services for residents in a long-term care and post-acute rehab setting, helping patients improve functional abilities required for daily living.
Assist in implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions focused on activities of daily living
Support patients with self-care, mobility, and functional task training
Document patient progress accurately and timely in the EMR
Collaborate with occupational therapists and interdisciplinary care teams
Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and safety strategies
Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards
Education and Certification Requirements
Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Active Texas COTA license
Current CPR or BLS certification
Experience in Long-Term Care or Rehabilitation settings preferred
Strong communication, organization, and patient-care skills
Compensation and Contract Details
13-week local travel contract
Weekly compensation up to $1,950, based on experience
Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No weekend requirements
