- Responsible for professional nursing treatment of students
- Care coordination and collaboration
- Medication Management
- Triage and manage illness and injury
- Responsible for infection prevention and control
- Ensure compliance with state and Joint Commission standards
- Current nursing license in Missouri, or compact state
- BLS
- 21 years of age or older
- Ability to pass physical and drug screen
- Able to pass state and federal background check
- Sitting/standing - employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Walking - employee may be required to walk considerable distance during the workday
- Carrying - employee may be required to carry objects in his or her arms and must have full mobility of arms to perform Safe Crisis Management (SCM)
- Lifting - employee may be required to raise and lower students from one level to another during the shift and must be able to lift 45 lbs. to perform SCM
- Stooping and crouching - employee is required to bend forward at the waist and/or kneel to perform SCM
- Climbing stairs - employee must be able to climb stairs

Calo Programs is seeking a nurse (LPN or RN) with a passion for working with pre-teens and adolescents
Calo is a residential treatment facility in Lake Ozark, Missouri that works with children 9-18 who have been through trauma in their developmental stages, particularly as it relates to foster/adoption. We currently have openings in our Health Services department for an RN or LPN to work PRN or as needed to cover shifts for vacations, sick days, etc.
