    Senior Tax Associate Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Senior Tax Associate to join our team in Denver. As a key member of our tax team, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing a book of clients including individual, entity, trust, estate, and gift tax returns.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepares and reviews various tax returns, including individual, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, gifts, estates, and not-for-profit tax returns.
    • Researches tax issues and legislation, exercising professional judgment to identify solutions to tax issues in returns.
    • Communicates tax and accounting issues to staff, managers, and partners.
    • Develops and maintains strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Mentors interns and participates in the internship training program.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
    • Minimum 2+ years of relevant public accounting experience.
    • Knowledge of tax software and MS Office.
    • Exceptional client service skills and ability to develop trusted relationships.
    • Strong leadership and personnel management skills.

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Big 4 or Regional Firm experience preferred.
    • CPA in progress.
