    Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrate the highest standard of core safety values and beliefs.
    • Troubleshoot and repair all SDI Copperworks equipment:
      • Mobile equipment, 480V three phase power distributions, process instrumentation, conveyors, roll replacement, Siemens S7 PLCs, VFDs to pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
    • Provide shift support and leadership as it relates to electrical safety, controls, and equipment operation.
    • Perform projects, install new equipment, and assist in production.
    • Repairs to mechanical/electrical equipment.
    • Assist with creation and editing of SOPs, JSAs, and Lock Out Procedures.
    • Mentor junior employees.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Requirements:

    • Must possess a well-defined sense of hazard awareness and recognition.
    • Substantial knowledge of LOTOTO, Confined Spaces, Mobile Equipment, Crane, Fall Protection, and Machine Guarding safety.
    • 3-5 years maintenance experience.
    • Must be able to read electrical / mechanical drawings.
    • Must be able to understand and troubleshoot control circuits.
    • PLC and drive experience a plus.
    • Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude and a desire to problem solve.
    • Ability to make quick decisions in fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
    • Possess a self-starter quality for seeking input and details from resources.
    • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
    • Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
    • Must have good math skills, as well as good oral communication skills.
    • Must be able to lift 75 pounds and possess a willingness to work in cold/hot outside conditions as well as hot inside conditions.
    • Formal technical education ( preferred ).
