    Description

    Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide inpatient services at our Westwood and Santa Monica hospital locations.

    About the Role:

    • Provide speech pathology services to patients in the acute setting primarily at the Westwood campus and also the Santa Monica campus as needed
    • Perform clinical swallow evaluations, including Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES)
    • Conduct communication and cognition evaluations and treatment plans
    • Participate in holiday coverage rotation to ensure continuity of care

    Requirements:

    • California State Speech Pathology license
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams
    • Able to efficiently learn new computer and clinic systems to optimize workflow
    • Excellent documentation abilities to maintain accurate patient records
    • Experience conducting MBSS is required; experience with FEES is preferred
    • Prior experience working with pediatric patients is an asset

    Compensation:

    $54.55 - $71.99 hourly salary range
