    Description
    KOMPAN U.S. is in search of a Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join our team at the warehouse in north Austin.
    Reporting to the Finance Director, the Warehouse & Logistics Manager will oversee warehouse operations, including staffing, logistics, safety, analytics, and customer collaboration. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with industry and organizational regulations, contributing significantly to KOMPAN's strategy, business execution, and culture.

    With over five decades of experience, KOMPAN specializes in designing and constructing innovative commercial playground equipment and outdoor fitness sites suitable for all ages and abilities.
    Working closely with our global headquarters in Denmark, KOMPAN creates, manufactures, and installs over 1,000 sites monthly across 90 countries. Our North American headquarters in Austin, Texas, supports field sales operations across the U.S. and Canada.

    Responsibilities
    • Manage a team of forklift operators and logistics coordinators
    • Oversee logistics partner relationships
    • Coordinate efficient material delivery with customers
    • Update sales team on product inventory
    • Supervise loading and unloading operations
    • Provide safety training and ensure compliance
    • Oversight of external warehouses
    • Organize transportation across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico
    • Handle customs clearance
    • Drive cost-effective negotiations with carriers
    • Manage freight services and pricing
    • Monitor spare parts inventory
    • Track goods in transit and report damages
    • Prepare and analyze logistic reports
    • Implement Just in Time logistic management strategy
    • Collaborate with internal and external customers
    Requirements
    • 5+ years' experience in related roles
    • Warehouse team management experience
    • Forklift certification desirable
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
