    Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking aBiomedical Engineerlocated in Aurora, CO.

    Yo u will play a pivotal role in managing our medical equipment program and ensuring the safety, functionality, and compliance of medical technology within our clients healthcare facility.

    Will require a Public Trust Clearance and Covid Vaccination to startResponsibilities for the Biomedical Engineer:

    Develop and implement a comprehensive medical equipment management program that complies with applicable healthcare standards, regulatory agencies, and industry best practices.

    Create and deliver a curriculum for a continuing education program focused on the safe and effective use of medical technology for healthcare staff.

    Serve as the subject matter expert in the field of biomedical engineering, providing direct support for specialized clinical technology, including service, system administration, training, quality assurance, and life-cycle management.


    Required Qualifications for the Biomedical Engineer:
    Experience within a medical center and Biomedical Engineering department OR, Experience working in a government agency


    Education:
    Associate degree or higher in applied science or equivalent military training. Demonstrated competency to perform operational verification procedures, planned maintenance, and repair service on various medical equipment. Familiarity with the setup and application of test equipment. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical literature, schematics, and drawings.


    Additional Requirements:

    Per government customer:
    Must be US Citizens and legally authorized to work in the United States Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role


    Per Customer:
    Must provide proof of COVID vaccination + Flu vaccination during flu season.


    Compensation for the Biomedical Engineer:

    Salary Range:
    $90,000-$120,000/year depending on experience
