- As a registered nurse on our Cardiovascular Recovery/Stepdown Unit, you will provide care to inpatients and outpatients post Cath and EP Lab procedures as well as other cardiac diagnoses, conditions and treatment plans. This unit also specializes in care of stepdown patients, specifically those with acute respiratory needs. This is a fast-paced progressive care unit that specializes in cardiac and acute respiratory patient care. You will have the opportunity to overcome daily challenges, provide patient education and be your patient's advocate to ensure positive patient outcomes.
- Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
- Perform patient care, delegating patient care tasks and supervision of other patient care staff.
- Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
