Job Summary

A Staff Pharmacist at Walmart is a key position that involves providing pharmaceutical care to customers, processing and dispensing prescription orders, counseling patients, and maintaining confidential information.

The Staff Pharmacist will also be responsible for modeling and providing guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches, using tools and data to understand the community's needs, and staying up-to-date on emergent and urgent health issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and dispensing prescription orders
• Counsel patients regarding health care and prescription medication needs
• Maintain confidential information and required documentation
• Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches
• Use tools and data to understand the community's needs and stay up-to-date on emergent and urgent health issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
• Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
• Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)

Compensation:

$47.12-$82.69 per hour, plus annual or quarterly performance bonuses
