    Division: LLC, Wholly owned by The Shawnee Tribe

    Job Title: Table Games Dealer

    General Definition: Maintain control of the assigned table game at all times. Ensure quality customer service and a favorable gaming experience for our customers.

    Supervision Received: Table Games Supervisor

    Supervision Exercised: N/A


    Essential Job Functions:

    • Deal assigned games and monitor the monies on the table at all times.
    • Control gaming cards and equipment.
    • Monitor customer play for cheating scams and suspicious variations in play.
    • Answer questions about game rules and casino policies.
    • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
    • Handle routine customer complaints and incidents, and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel - seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Education:

    High School Diploma

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Able to pass Title 31 guidelines, and understand and utilize suspicious activity reports for casinos (SARC) when necessary

    Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities, and assist as needed

    Must have sound technical understanding of games, manuals, policies and procedures

    Must possess excellent customer interaction

    Well-developed interpersonal skills

    Must enjoy entertaining and communicating with the public

    Must have a professional appearance and be team player

    Must be able to stand for long periods of time (minimum of 2-4 hour intervals)

    Ability to respond to visual and aural cues

    Must have the manual dexterity to manipulate cards, dice and spinning wheels

    Must be able to work flexible schedule including; evenings, weekends, holidays and promotional events

    Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, strong odors, dust, loud noises and bright lights

    Training and Experience:

    Previous dealing experience is preferred

    Licenses/Certifications/Other:

    Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency, if applicable to perform the essential job functions

    Must be able to complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result
