- Operate, maintain, and fix all production equipment within the department to prevent and correct mechanical and electrical breakdowns while following strict safety and quality standards.
- Conduct electrical/electronic repair in a manufacturing setting.
- Possess experience with industrial, mechanical, electrical, and computer systems.
- Knowledge and ability to perform special technical skills such as electrical repair, basic PLC skills, machining, welding tasks, and handling high-pressure gases.
- Instrumentation experience, repair, and calibration.
- Familiarity with electrical installation and construction, AC/DC motor drives, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems.
- Understanding or willingness to train in Maintenance Systems (SAP), lubricants and lubricating systems, and emerging technologies in predictive maintenance.
- Support plant productivity programs for continuous improvement.
- Adhere to safety and environmental policies and actively participate in related programs.
- Complete tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- 2 years of maintenance-related experience with a minimum of 1000 hours of on-the-job experience.
- Proficiency in special technical skills like basic electrical troubleshooting, PLC skills, machining, welding tasks, and handling high-pressure gases.
- Knowledge of electrical installation and construction, AC/DC motor drives, gearboxes, and hydraulics/pneumatics systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform area housekeeping duties.
- Experience with Windows-based PCs.
- Capacity to work effectively in a team-based environment with limited supervision and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Aptitude to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals and respond to inquiries.
- Follow OHS policies and ensure a safe workplace environment.
- Be aware of potential exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, toxic/caustic chemicals, and loud noise areas.
