Sewer Equipment provides the highest quality and most innovative sewer cleaning products for the municipal and contractor market

Job Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible to accurately transfer products with a forklift, both physically and logically, into and/or out of the facility in a timely manner

Duties/Responsibilities:
Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations.
Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information.
Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy.
Confirms shipping details or special instructions; expedites shipments that affect the manufacturing process schedule.

Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids).When problems arise, resolves issues with contractors or vendors.

Validates, approves, and forwards invoices to accounting department.
Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Commitments and Location:
Permanent Full-Time Role Based in Dixon, IL

Night Shift:
Monday-Thursday 8:00pm - 6:30am

Benefits Include:
Pay Range of $ $ $2.00 shift differentialProductivity Bonus, paid quarterly. Average 2023 payout was $3/hour.

Excellent verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good math and written communication skills.
Efficient time management skills.

Education and Experience:
1-2 years' Forklift experience

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing.
Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds at a time.
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures inside and outside of the warehouse.
