Job Summary:
Responsible for clerical and secretarial unit management and observation of real time cardiac monitors within the Progressive Care Unit and Critical Care Unit

Qualifications:
High school graduate or GED with unit secretary training and/or applicable experience.
Hospital background preferred.
Knowledge of medications, medical terminology and spelling.
Current BLS.Certified Nurse Aide II certification preferred.
Keyboard skills and familiarity with computers essential.
Ability to interact with the public courteously and effectively.

Ability to work in a busy area, adapting to frequent interruptions while maintaining efficiency, a calm demeanor and a pleasant approach.

Knowledge of multi-line telephone.
Rhythm interpretation training and experience with basic ECG course highly preferred.
