    My client is a fast growing industrial manufacturer working on some very exciting new products. They are a very entrepreneurial company invested in green technology. My client is growing at an exponential rate and looking to bring someone on that can grow with them.

    Job Description

    1. Vendor Management:
    2. Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers/vendors based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
    3. Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
    4. Negotiate terms and contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
    5. Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
    6. Strategic Sourcing:
    7. Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
    8. Analyze market trends, industry dynamics, and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for sourcing efficiencies and innovation.
    9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with organizational objectives and requirements.
    10. Procurement Operations:
    11. Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, purchase order creation, and invoice processing.
    12. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    13. Manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
    14. Utilize procurement tools and systems to streamline processes and enhance visibility into procurement activities.
    15. Cost Management:
    16. Conduct cost analysis and cost-benefit assessments to support decision-making and budget planning.
    17. Implement cost-saving initiatives such as supplier consolidation, volume discounts, and value engineering.
    18. Monitor and report on procurement-related KPIs, such as savings achieved, supplier performance, and procurement cycle times.
    19. Risk Management:
    20. Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, including supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and geopolitical factors.
    21. Develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies to minimize operational disruptions.
    22. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards, including anti-corruption and anti-bribery regulations.

      The Successful Applicant

    23. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, preferred or equivalent experience.
    24. Proven experience (5+ years) in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with a focus on strategic sourcing and vendor management.
    25. MUST have experience working within an MRP system
    26. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive favorable outcomes in supplier negotiations.
    27. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
    28. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
    29. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    30. Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices in procurement and supply chain management. What's on Offer

      Target compensation for the Senior Buyer is $90,000 - $100, % Bonus.
