- Vendor Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers/vendors based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
- Negotiate terms and contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Strategic Sourcing:
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
- Analyze market trends, industry dynamics, and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for sourcing efficiencies and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with organizational objectives and requirements.
- Procurement Operations:
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, purchase order creation, and invoice processing.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Utilize procurement tools and systems to streamline processes and enhance visibility into procurement activities.
- Cost Management:
- Conduct cost analysis and cost-benefit assessments to support decision-making and budget planning.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives such as supplier consolidation, volume discounts, and value engineering.
- Monitor and report on procurement-related KPIs, such as savings achieved, supplier performance, and procurement cycle times.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, including supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and geopolitical factors.
- Develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies to minimize operational disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards, including anti-corruption and anti-bribery regulations.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, preferred or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with a focus on strategic sourcing and vendor management.
- MUST have experience working within an MRP system
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive favorable outcomes in supplier negotiations.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices in procurement and supply chain management. What's on Offer
