    ** Trainer Geobox Driver**

    New **Summary:** In addition to established Geobox Driver responsibilities, the Trainer will also be responsible for training new Trainees to perform Geobox Driver job duties in accordance with established standards. **GeoBox Driver Trainer Job Duties:**

    Works with DTM and TDMs to identify individual UT employee developmental needs within each department to improve productivity; Identify learning gaps of new hires through formal / informal needs analysis and observation

    Provide on-the-job training and support to meet all regulatory and safety compliance required by DOT, OSHA and company best practice; provide and monitor safety procedures for new hires

    CDL training mentor

    Recommend appropriate training interventions based on needs and performance results

    Serve as communication conduit from driver to management as it pertains to team morale, competitive threats, additional training needs

    Candidates for front-line participation in Local Listening Posts, SIPP, Loading efficiency meetings with Operations and Safety Committee meetings

    Assist in the development of processes / best practices for training of new & existing workforce

    Assist in the development & implementation of performance improvement training to support departmental goals

    Assist HR in writing updated training materials and/or act as subject-matter expert in curriculum development

    **GeoBox Driver Job Duties:**

    Delivers, stocks, rotates and displays all products at customer locations according to established standards.

    Invoices customers for sales, collects payment from customers (e.g. check, cash, money order) and secures payment in safe.

    Works with customer at retailer locations to ensure that entire pre-sold order is delivered and merchandised to maximize sales and profitability.

    Works in conjunction with customers and Territory Account Manager to identify opportunities to increase the sales and profitability of the company through incremental displays, communication of price/value and promotions.

    Communicates with customers and Pepsi management team on issues regarding pricing, products, programs and problems that arise in the trade to ensure that established customer service standards are maintained.

    Maintains a good working relationship with: customers; account and TDMs/VCMs at Pepsi; and other internal employees at Pepsi (e.g. warehouse employees, sales equipment employees).

    Ensures proper POS items are set up and displayed according to established standards (e.g. clings, base wrap, pole signs, banners).

    Responsible for the proper accounting of all products, shells and pallets (e.g. shells and pallets accurately accounted for and returned to facility).

    Adheres to all company policies, standards and procedures (e.g. OSHA, DOT and safety requirements, AIB and Pepsi standards, Federal/State/Local laws); wears all required personal protective equipment.

    Maintains and completes required paperwork (e.g. DOT logs, Missed Time Verification forms, time off requests, mileage logs, sales reports, invoices); maintains confidentiality of product pricing, customer key locations and other sensitive information.

    Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.

    **Requirements:**

    Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License

    Employee must be insurable to operate a vehicle, as a condition of initial and continued employment.

    12 -24 months of previous sales experience with a consumer product line and customer relations experience.

    Must have completed training through the Utility Trainee Pool and currently be on a Combo Delivery or have had a minimum of twelve months previous experience on a Full Service, Tel-Sell, Combo, Express Delivery r oute.

    Must be able to lift up to pounds manually in a repetitive motion; and be able to push/pull up to 300 pounds

    Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle and feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, crawl, kneel, crouch, climb, talk, hear, push, pull and lift overhead

    Cannot have corrective action items, either current or in the past twelve months
