    Overview

    Jackson Dawson is seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Manager who is ready to roll up their sleeves on new business development. In addition to facilitating client relationships, this key team member is a strategic thinker in always thinking about what comes next. The ideal candidate will be able to see the big picture while managing the details within a cross-functional team.

    Responsibilities
    • Serve as lead point of contact with the client for delivering on all new business development needs, as well as on programs that might be assigned once awarded
    • Offer poised and informed leadership when representing the team, our client(s) and past/current programs
    • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of RFP briefs to ensure that we are meeting or exceeding client expectations
    • Establish checkpoints with cross-functional teams to remain well-informed about JD capabilities, potential opportunities and key highlights
    • Responsible for building and managing deliverable timelines and budgets
    • Establish, manage and maintain client relationships to ensure the highest level of satisfaction
    • Uphold a consultative approach to all client interactions with internal team members
    • Actively pursue new business opportunities that will contribute to the growth and profitability by expanding agency billings from client(s)
    • Perform other duties as assigned
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business/Advertising or related field
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience within the marketing industry
    • Experience working on new business proposals
    • Proven success in pursuing and obtaining new business opportunities
    • Ability to understand the components of a project in order to build and maintain detailed timelines
    • Client and stakeholder management experience
    • Strong self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit
    • Strong written and verbal communication
    • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deliverables
    • Highly organized and strategic
    • Excellent presentation skills including proven experience developing proposals
    This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Occasionally, the Account Manager needs to move about inside the office to access office equipment, conference rooms, etc.
