    Karl Orthodontics is excited to add a Practice Manager to our team.

    We are seeking a Practice Manager with at least 5 years of managerial experience who will lead a high-performing team.

    In this dynamic role you will support the people and culture, as well as operational needs of a fast-paced clinic to ensure optimal practice performance with the overall goal of enhancing the patients experience.

    Qualified candidates will have a passion for coaching and mentoring others, can seamlessly manage business operations and can work through complex situations diligently and collaboratively.

    We are looking for someone with a fun, positive attitude, and professional demeanor to support our doctor, team, and patients.

    As our Practice Manager you are a team player, self-motivated, flexible, and always willing to learn.

    What you will be doing key responsibilities:

    Support with all aspects of practice operations (e.g., scheduling, patient correspondence, third party services, etc.)Manage all areas of compliance (HIPPA/PIPA,OSHA etc...)Accountable for practice budget and targets, monitoring and overseeing A/R, and EOM reconciliation.

    Develop strategies and marketing initiatives to increase new patient growth.
    Partner with Talent Acquisition and People & Culture to attract, develop, retain, and onboard team members.
    Ensure teams remain up to date on new techniques and trends in their profession.
    Ensure exceptional patient care and promptly resolving patient inquiries as they arise.

    Support practice performance and partner with our doctors and functional support teams to help identify opportunities that deliver optimal performance and operational excellence.

    Lead and maintain communication with the doctors and team through morning/afternoon huddles, team meetings, communication boards to foster an inclusive and team-based environment.

    Ensure compliance with all health standards in line with regulatory bodies and internal policies.
    Support with marketing initiatives to increase new patient growth.

    Provide back-up support to our Treatment Coordinator and Scheduling Coordinator as required, which includes facilitating patient consultations during new patient exam appointments and educating patients about the benefits of orthodontic treatment.


    About you:
    A strategic thinker with who enjoys problem-solving and troubleshooting and can multi-task and prioritize appropriately in a busy environment.
    Have exceptional interpersonal skills and is someone who motivates and brings out the best in others.

    Have strong business acumen , with a deep understanding of the practice P&L, continuously looking for efficiency and cost savings.

    A self-starter who is passionate about delivering positive patient experiences.
    Are detail-oriented and able to work both strategically and tactically.
    Possess a strong aptitude for change management.
    Have alignment with our vision, mission, and values, which guide how we work.


    What you bring qualifications:
    A bachelors degree or college diploma in business, office administration, or related field.
    Previous managerial experience leading a team.
    Passionate about coaching and mentoring others.
    Three or more years of experience in a dental/healthcare environment an asset.
    Strong aptitude for change management.
