    Description

    The Department of Anesthesiology at The MetroHealth System, affiliated with Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine, has an immediate opening for a full time ABA board certified/eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist who has completed (or in process of completing) Cardiothoracic anesthesia fellowship with an advanced echocardiography certification.


    MetroHealth Medical Center is a major tertiary care hospital with a Level 1 Adult Trauma and Burn Center. Duties include direct patient care, resident teaching and supervision of residents/CRNAs/AAs. Opportunities for clinical research are available and participation is encouraged. Your academic appointment at CWRU school of Medicine and salary will be commensurate with experience and credentials.

    The MetroHealth System is redesigning its campus with an innovative transformation plan to exceed the ever-changing needs of patients and programs for the community.

    This billion-dollar transformation is the largest public construction project in Cuyahoga County and one of the largest in the nation.

    By 2023, the new hospital tower will be home to 270 private rooms with additional state-of-the art facilities, population health initiatives, as well as a re-imagined campus environment.
