    ASAPLocation: HYBRID (3 days onsite in Zelienople, PA) may be required to be onsite fully the first few weeks20-25% travel across North America will be issued a company credit card and company will pay for a passport.

    • Haves:Bachelors in electrical engineering or any engineering related field and 3+ years of project execution ideally in industrial automation and/ or waste water treatment5+ years of experience in process control and system designs including PLCs (Allen Bradley PLCs or Modicon is equivalent)Must be proficient in AB/Rockwell Automation software.
    Ability to read schematics, power plans, layout drawings, PIDs, etc.
    Background knowledge in mechanical fundamentals and can understand process flow diagrams.
    Ideally someone who has worked in waste water.

    Experience working with GE PLCsDay to Day:To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

    Review and interpret project electrical schematics and specificationsDevelop scope of supply for electrical control components and prepare bills of materialDevelop electrical control panel designs and write PLC/HMI codeRead and/or develop P&ID diagramsPerform electrical & controls troubleshootingPrepare Xylem Inc.

    standard electrical drawings utilizing AutoCAD Electrical software packageMaster Allen Bradley PLC & HMI development and programming in addition to one other brand of PLC/HMI.

    Perform system factory acceptance testing and assist with project startup & commissioningAssist Project Engineering with the preparation of project submittals and O&M Manuals for review and approval by customerIndependently develop PLC software and electrical hardware designsInterface with procurement to specify and obtain quotations from vendors & attends vendor trainings as requiredPossess an ability to positively influence & manage installing contractorsProvide advanced customer support & establish team actions to deliver on our commitmentsSupport development of aftermarket opportunities and execute aftermarket projectsMaintain a high degree of understanding of water treatment processesDevelop and present lessons learned and perform point kaizen to continuously improveIdentify cost saving design solutions within project workDevelop process & controls specificationsPerforms system integration to customer SCADAMaintain cUL, NEC, and IEC Compliance as applicablePerform training for internal team members as well as customersHave excellent communication and extensive contact with customers, consultants, suppliers and colleagues as necessary to ensure project successPerform other duties as assignedAdditional duties and responsibilities:
    Support and respond to routine customer inquiriesInside customer support for sales service, and aftermarket teamsAdheres to Xylem Inc.

    Standard Operating ProceduresDevelop an in-depth knowledge of water treatment & control processesTravel to project sites, suppliers factories, and technical conferences as necessaryCompensation :$110/yr to $120yr.

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
